Finally a good depiction of Hitler (opposed to the Western depiction that he is the most evil man to ever live), as well as a good depiction of Nazi Germany (again opposed to the Western view). It is quite long, but you never for a second get bored. And, you”ll want to learn German after seeing the lead actress Alexandra Maria Lara! The actor who plays Hitler is amazingly spot-on for what I thought Hitler would act and sound like. Overview: Hitler chooses his last assistant near the end of the war. As the Russians get closer, he sends troops that no longer exist, and as his Generals try to explain, he assumes that they are betraying him. He decides to stay in Berlin as it is attacked, which ultimately forces him to kill himself. |
